I'm running a P4PE with P4 2.4G cpu,
1Gb kingston hyperx ram,
2 dvds,
2 WD 80gb IDE HDDs
1 new Seagate SATA 300gb drive
XP Pro
Since installing the SATA drive on the raid controller my system freezes completely at random times, and always after going into locked out mode after inactivity. Often when using apps I hear what I think is the power supply (Thermaltake 400W new) doing a clicking thing like resetting or rebooting itself and then about 30secs later the system is frozen, hardware reset needed. It happens A LOT now, hourly almost. Bas for thesis writing.
Anyone know of any issues with the raid controller and sata drives in standby modes or something that could be causing this? Thx in advance!
