P4P800E-Deluxe non-raid setup

Can the P4P800E-Deluxe run 2 SATA drives off of the IH5R South bridge in
non-raid mode?
And 1 IDE & 2 SATA in non-raid mode off of the Promise 20378 raid
controller?

In total it looks like 8 drives can be connected to this board at once.

If you use WinXP/Win2K, you can have 6 drives on the Southbridge
and 4 drives on the Promise. Use the ATA driver for the Promise
chip and disable RAID in the BIOS.

For Win98, you can have 4 drives on the Southbridge and
4 drives on the Promise chip. You must enable "Compatible"
mode in the BIOS, for the Southbridge to work properly. The
BIOS also allows you to control which four of the six interfaces
will be used. For example, you could use two SATA and two IDE
drives on the same IDE cable, leaving the third IDE cable
unused.

The Promise chip doesn't support ATAPI, so your CD/DVD devices
should be connected to the Southbridge.
