P4P800 SE SATA single HDD

Hello, please if someone can help me.

I bought the P4P800 SE MB because the one i had crashed and windows xp won't
recognise sata drive.
I had the single maxtor sata 160 Gb disk on my previous mb.
Now i installed everything, windows xp just won't recognise my old SATA
drive. It is not even in the disk managment.
Bios is recognising it as third ide master. Ide config is No RAID.

Please help
 
Be sure your bios settings are correct. I am running a
single maxtor sata with the P4P800 and no problems.

I created it from Norton's Ghost from my old IDE drive so
I believe you should be able do what you want.
