P4P 800 RAID installation???????

I am trying to install 2 SATA drives on a new system. I set up the BIOS as
per the book but when I boot from Win XP SP2 the format section does not see
any drives. What gives? The ASUS manual says nothing about any software
install.

If youre doing RAID 0 on the P4P800, and doing a clean install
try pressing F6 to installl the drivers for RAID.. The CD that came
with the P4P800 has make.exe. You'll have to create the SATA drivers
disk from it first. Did you do a clean install?
 
You need to make a floppy diskette for the ICH5R drivers. Then when XP
setup starts and asks you to hit F6 to install 3rd party drivers, do so then
load them. Setup will then be able to see your RAID.
