P4C800 POST beeps

Don't laugh. When booting a P4C800 Deluxe, P4 2.6C, 2GB HyperX DDR 400
machine
the following is emitted from the PC speaker.

BEEP BEEP BOOP BOOP

But everything seems to function just fine. No errors. I need to snag some
speakers and hook
up the voice stuff.

let me guess, you have a total of 4 usb devices connected?

6 actually - 4 off of the mainboard, 2 more from one of the additional
connectors on the mobo.

Yeah, I get 1 beep (for usb mouse) attached to mainboard. I believe it beeps
to indicate the # of devices, and the high/low may be 2.0/1.1 not sure. it
doesnt beep for my joystick on the front headers either, but it does for the
back devices (I get 2 beeps w/ both usb in back)
