P4C800-E Deluxe slow BIOS fix?

Hello, Is the slow BIOS response time normal for this board? It is really
annoying to wait for the screen to update when you are just moving from on
setting to another. And does this have any effect on how the board runs
otherwise?

I have the same board (revision 2.0) and the screens update instantly....no
wait time at all...
