p4c800-e deluxe corsair RAM question

Hello,

I have a P4C800-E Deluxe on the way. I am wondering what the best 512mb
corsair RAM is to populate all 4 banks for a total of 2gb. I am looking at
getting the CORSAIR MEMORY XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 512MB 32MX8
PC-3500C2 With Heat Spreader. I am not looking to overclock right away, but
would like to get the system working as is to start with. I have the 800mhz
FSB 3.0ghz CPU on the way also. My questions are as follows:

1. Can 4 of the above ram sticks work on my MB? Is it risky to do so? or
even reccommended for that matter?

2. If I can populate all 4 banks 512x4, will i have to increase the latency
timings? or can I keep them at their default values?

3. If i do have to increase the timings, what is a more efficient/fast
system? 1gb at low latency or 2gb at a higher setting. My goal is to have
the faster system i can, at what point does too much ram become detrimental
to performce?

4. I hear that the twinx 3200 xms is the same stick as the 3500. Is the fact
that there are no matched pairs for 3500 something i should be concerned
about? What is the advantage of going with the twinx3200 vs the other if
they are exactly the same?

THanks for the help!

All the best!

thanks for the reply, newegg.com and googlegear.com are both still selling
the pc3500 corsair. The reason I want to go with these over the 3700 is
that I have read the 3700's have stability issues, and cannot be overclocked
as much and as stable as the 3500's.

ASUS recommends only 2 sticks of Corsair 512MB XMS3500C2 in the P4C800
"for optimum performance and overclocking stability". But in reality,
you'll probably just have to increase the latency at little.

If you buy 4 sticks, let us know what your results are. My guess is
that you'll be fine with 4 sticks at 2-3-3-7. Be sure to test it with
MemTest86 for a few hours when you tweak the timings.

Good Luck,
