I have one drive - a Seagate SATA. When I try to hook up my Western
Digital 160 GB IDE drive as a second drive the computer won't boot
first to my Seagate drive. It wants to boot to my WD Drive? I've tried
a number of things but the SATA drive is always listed as 3rd master.
Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Take out the (no spam) on my email address to make it work correctly.

Go into the Bios under the BOOT section. Make sure that the WD drive is not
listed and that your Seagate is. I had a similar problem recently while
building a system. Whenever I added a drive (after the Windows XP install),
it would add itself to the Boot menu and try to boot from it. If I remember
correctly, de-selecting it fixed the problem.
