P4C800 deluxe - wrong memory

Hi,

I ordered memory for my new P4C800 in a bit of a rush...and managed to
choose the wrong modules.
I have 1G - 2 x 512 matched Corsair twinX but....ECC registered
CMX512RE-3299LLPT to be exact.
I know the board is OK with ECC but not registered?

Question is.. will it work? I can return it but the restocking fee etc means
it may be better to sell it. If it will work but not use some of its
features I may keep it.

Will I harm it if I try it?
