P2P APIs for C#?

Does anyone know of an API for a popular P2P network (ie WINMX, bearshare
etc) that I can access using the .NET Framework?

Or even one of these systems that runs as a service, and allows control via
..net?

For access to existing networks you might want to contact the developers and
ask for API or some projects (bittorrent, gnutella, emule) have their
sources available as well as documented protocols.

The closest thing I know if is this P2P SDK from MSFT

It allows you to build your own, not connect to existing networks.
