P2b and serial ports

Hi,

I have a P2 350 with a mobo P2B. Using Windows 98 everything worked
fine. When I tryied to install Windows 2000, this Operative System
told me that my serial ports didn't work correctly. The same happens
with Windows XP. I think this isn't an hardware problem. Who do U
think?

Issues like this one have been fixed by BIOS updates in the past, so I'd
suggest to flash 1014 beta 3. (Then XP should also install with ACPI
HAL.)
