Ownership - under what account did this get installed?

Win2k Pro, how do I find out who is the owner for files/folders ?

For example, if something is installed under "Program Files"
Is there anyway of knowing what user account it was installed under?

Hi,

As long as the disk is formatted as NTFS:

1.
Right click on the file or folder, and select Properties.

2.
Select the Security tab.

3.
Click on the "Advanced..." button.

4.
Select the Owner tab.

5.
See what account name is listed under "Current owner of this item:"
