Overwrite file dialog hiding

Wowbagger

I saved a word document and was given the dialog saying "this file already
exists". Somehow this window was minimized or closed. Now the word icon in
the task bar is flashing and I can't save, close or do anything with the
document. Any help will be appreciated.

This may be a side-effect of the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in.

Can you see the dialog if you minimize the document window? As Mike says,
this behavior is usually the result of a conflict with the Norton Office
