Overtype mode in outlook

I keep switching on overtype mode in outlook 2000 without
realising how i'm doing it. Is there a keystroke and how
do you switch it off because it is really frustrating?

Press the Insert key on your keyboard. I don't know what the keystroke combo
is, but I don't think it's native to Outlook- think it's Windows.

Thanks very much. Must have been hitting the insert key
by mistake when deleting stuff.
