Overtime Pay formula

I need a formula that will compute overtime pay. I have hours worke
inB4, hourly payrate in C4, total normal pay for all hours worked i
D4, but I can't create an If function that will work in figuring ou
the overtime money in E4. Yes I'm clueless :confused

One way:

Assuming 40 hours regular time, and time-and-a-half for OT:

E4: =MAX(0,B4-40)*1.5*C4
