overriding excel schedule imported into outlook

I have project tasks and dates in a spreadsheet that i have imported into my
outlook calendar. When dates change, I'd like to import the spreadsheet
again and override the previous dates, but the tasks remain on the old dates
as well as being added to the new dates. Is there a way to remedy this?

No, once added to a calendar, they are there until physically removed.

Is there some reason you are using Outlook for projects rather than a project management program? There are several free ones available if you use Google to find one.

After furious head scratching, learning outlook asked:
