Dear All,

I remember in a earlier version of Excel (maybe 5.0), you
were able to alter the functionality of in-built buttons
and make things like the save icon print or close, etc. It
is now a long time since I saw an example, but can you
still do this in Excel 2000.

I seem to remember that as long as you added a procedure
with name Save then the spreadsheet would use this when
you click the save icon.

Thanks for your help.

Tools>Customize. Right-click on any button and you can re-assign that button
to any macro you want.
