"Overflow" error when exporting to .rtf

Charles

I have a user who is getting an error in Access XP that
says nothing more then "overflow" when attempting to
export a multi-hundred page report to .rtf format. The
number of pages that it gets through changes depending on
if he has it sorted and grouped (less pages) or unsorted
(more pages). Can any one give any input on this?

I've received this error, but never because of the same
problem. I think OVERFLOW is just a generic error message
when Access doesn't have an exact match for the error, or
the problem is far underlying in the query.
This has occurred in our office when someone entered zero
in a table field and the zero didn't correspond with a
formula set up to look for nulls.
You might have to do some digging into the tables/queries
that supply the data for the export.
Wish you luck!
