Over written a File that had Correct data with incorrect data

Hi,

I had a file that had a correct data.
I cleared the data and pasted some other data, and saved the file (
CTRL +S).
Then later on I realised that I made a mistake in the data, and the
original one was correct.

Now I need the priginal file. Is there any way of getting back the
original file?

Please help.

there's no easy way to say this .... so, no. You'll need to have taken a
backup at some point or, if it's on a network at work, ask your IT support
team in the hope they have a copy of the old version.

I will be careful to have a back up from now on, but I am afraid, ther
is none right now, so its gonna be rework time for me( getting th
correct data again, and redoing the whole stuff).
