outputing to two sound devices simultaneously

Can this be done? I want to be able to play windows media
player through two sound devices simultaneously.
I have researched this for about two hours with no luck.
As and alternate, does anybody know of a media player that
will stream the same stream to two audio devices?

Thanks, John

I'm facing the same problem, but unfortunately one of the devices is a
Apple/Harman Kardon iSub System running over USB, and they have no ful
range output.

I know that XP can handle this, because every application I launch wil
continue to play through the device that was selected at launchtime
and accordingly, I can have different media players outputting sound t
each of my two audio devices simultaneusly, but unfortunately no on
player can stream to both devices at the same time, whch is what
really want. :-(

Have you thought about putting a splitter on the output? What exactly
are you trying to do? You may also be able to daisy chain the audio
devices so that the sounds goes through one and into the other while
playing out of both. There are tons of 1/4" Y splitters available which
would allow you to use 2 speaker systems.
