Output parameter with ADO stream and SQLXML?

I can't get my ADO Command with ADO Stream and SQLXML to return a correct
value in the output parameter. The input parameters pass in values
correctly. Here's the example I followed

I'm wondering if output parameter and ADO Stream can work together at all.
Could anyone confirm that?
