OUTPUT FILE IS LOCKED; CANNOT BE OVERWRITE!

i'm using WinMPG Converter to convert movietime video format files to avi
format, but when i put in a file name or destination in the output file space
i keep getting a pop up dialogue box saying " file is locked, cannot be
overwrite" Could someone tell me what doe that mean and what can i do to
resolve this matter.

And thanks PaPaJohn for your quick response to my first question if you are
reading this.

your welcome Aaron...

that kind of message usually means that something else is using the file...
one you need to close first... not being a user of WinMPG Converter, I can't
suggest anything.
