Outlooks sends emails but therer is nothing in Outbox to send

Everytime I hit Send/Receive botton Outlook tries to send 3 emails via
Netzero server. However there never is anything in the OUTBOX to send.
Afterwards I get an error indicating it could not send the emails. Got any
idea where my corruption is?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Evaz asked:
