I'm using Outlook 2007 and Vista Ultimate.

My AOL IMAP mail worked fine until a about a week ago.
Now I get this error message:

"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate cannot be
verified.
Do want to continue using this server"

I click "Yes" and it downloads the new email, but I have to do this each
time I open Outlook 2007.

Anyone have any clues how to fix this?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thx

See if changing the IE setting to warn about security certs stops it. If
not, you may need to install the cert locally so it's trusted.

IE's tools, internet options, advanced - last section has security options.

Diane:

Thank you for your response.

I tried changing those settings and others in the same area, however I still
get the same error message.

Thx Again..

How do I get a certificate for, say, aol?

They usually make it available for download and installation or when viewing
it in IE, it has an install button.

I've visited the aol.com site several times, and searched using the words
"certificate" and "security certificate". I could find any page that offered
me the option of downloading a certificate. Would you mind visiting aol.com
and seeing if you can find the page.
