outlook2003 Stop automatic open out of standby mode

Using outlook2003 in home pc. When computer comes out of standby mode, the
last email delivered automaticly opens. How do I stop this?
 
hw are you taking it out of standby? is it actually opening it in a new
window or just showing it in the preview pane?
 
Opening by just hitting space bar. The last email is automatically displayed
as connection is completed.
