Outlook2003 hangs when opened

When I open Outlook(2003) it hangs and it appears that there is 2 instances
of Outlook running.I close it and open it again.Prompts me to run it in Safe
Mode and still no response.
I did the detect and repair and that isn't helping either.
Could someone please help me?
 
Open task manager, ensure any instance of outlook.exe in the processes tab
is terminated
Start outlook using the safe switch;
Start
Run
Outlook.exe /safe (note space between; exe /)
Does it open correctly, if so you have most likely a missbehaving addin
