outlook2003 can't see any mail at mailbox of exchange server side,why?

Hi,

Would anyone please help me to troubleshoot the problem?

I use windows2000sp4+outlook2003sp2(they are all english
version),outlook2003 can't see any mail at mailbox of exchange server
side,why?
i have been re-setup several times,however, the problem are same.If I
use windows2000sp4+outlook2002,the bug will disappear.
and my mate use windowsXP+outlook2003(they are all english version),the
bug still exist.

What do you mean by "can't see any mail" - can you open the mailbox? Are you
using cached mode? What version of Exchange? Do you have the same problem if
you disable cached mode?

I don't know that you have a bug here. You haven't provided much
information, and you will need to post back with more detail in order to get
help.

outlook2002 can see mail into mailbox of server side,i can operate them
at server side by outlook client,then,i can download them to local
mailbox.

however outlook2003 can't see any mail into mailbox of server side,i
can't operate them at server side, i only download them to local
mailbox by "send/recived"

What do you mean by "local mailbox" ? A PST file? Don't use those, if you
have Exchange. Just open the mailbox directly.

You need to provide more detail about what's in your mail profile. Normally,
it should just be the Exchange server - no PST files, no POP accounts. And
you didn't mention whether you were using cached mode or not.

of server side will appear in mailbox then downloaded to local PST
automatic.

now,although the new mail can download to local PST automatic,yet it
will not appear in mailbox firstly.So i don't Real-time know if i have
new mail or not.

my outlook2003 version: english outlook2003(11.6568.6568) SP2

This is a very strange configuration and is likely the cause of your
problem. Why are you using a PST file? This will cause problems with your
seeing mail in more than one location. Get rid of the PST file in your
profile. Store everything in your mailbox, and cached mode will make a
mirrored local copy for you. Then you can look at the same data from
multiple computers. A PST file will not let you do that.
 
ok, i have been settled the probelm.it seems like custom setup leading
to the bug.
i re-setup office2003 with completed setup,then,the problem disapear.
