I recently installed Outlook 2000 in a laptop with Windows vista. everytime
i click on the Outlook icon, the Startup Wizard pops up and wants to
configure it. I tried the repair mode, reinstalling it, etc. but does not
fix the problem. Help

Great, thanks for the quick reply. I guess Bill Gates needs to sell more
software.

You can't put Model T parts in a Mustang, either. Perhaps Bill Ford needs

Go to where you have office installed ex:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
right click outlook.exe, run as admin. Go through set up again and this time it should save. This is what worked for me.

Possible fix for what? Next time, include enough of the message to which
you're replying so that someone has a chance of figuring out what you mean.
