Outlook XP Reminders - they no working!

Dan

Hello all,
Looking for help with calendar/ task reminders on Outlook 2002 running
on Exchange 5.5. One of our users has suddenly lost this functionality
and nothing we have tried seems to resolve the issue. Here's the list
of attempts so far:

Default Reminder unchecked/checked (along with 'Display the reminder')
Outlook started with /CleanReminders switch
Detect / Repaired Outlook
New Outlook profile
Installed Office XP SP3
De & Re-installed Office XP (w/o SP3)
Reduced Mailbox size
New User Profile

If you have any ideas, please let us know!
Thanks

Dan

Two suggestions.

First, try starting that Outlook with the /resetfolders switch.

Second, if the user is using some sort of synching software use MDBView on
the server side or OutlookSpy (www.dimastr.com) on the client side to see if
they have more than 1 Reminders folder in their mailbox. They would be named
Reminders, Reminders1, etc. If they do then delete all but the original
Reminders folder and run /resetfolders again.

Reminders should be located under the InfoStore for the mailbox, in the path
InfoStore\RootFolder\Reminders when in online mode with an Exchange mailbox.

Ken,
Thanks for your help and prompt posting. The /resetfolders switch
worked and the user is happy once more!

Good Work!
