Outlook XP : multple dial up problem

Hi there

I have dual dial up connections to check different email accounts.

I have the default account to ISP 1, and the other account ISP 2.

The problem is that sometimes when I send mail from the default
account, ISP 1, Outlook XP attempts to send out via the dial up
connection for ISP 2, the result is a bounced emails.

This never happened before with Outlook 2000, only with XP. This only
happens on sending email, receiving is fine.

Of course I could set up the other account on Outlook Express instead,
splitting the emails, but I would rather fix it to work on Outlook XP
using Express as a last resort.

Much thanks.

So then, neither E-Mail account can be checked while connected through a
different ISP?

I know the mail servers accessed by the name pop3.xtra.co.nz are not
available when not connected to xtra. But most other ISPs let you check
your mail through any internet connection (e.g. you can check your IHUG
email on your laptop while connected to the xtra jetstream connection at
work).

If you could check both mailboxes from one internet connection then you
could set both accounts to send mail by the same smtp server and only
bother using the one internet connection.
