Outlook will not receive my emails but will send - how do I fix?

I am having problems with outlook. I can send emails but cannot receive them.

When I log out of outlook and use my internet providers web page to send and
receive emails it works to send and receive.

What do I have to fix to make sure I can send and receive emails again?

What happens when you try? What version of Outlook? What type of account?
 
Are you receiving any time of error code or any error message. Also what verison of Outlook are you using?
