outlook waiting time for ypop

hi i am using latest ypop for my outlook

but i wonder why everytime i press "send/receive", the process took me a very long time to get the email from the server.
i sometimes fed up of using outlook because of the time i need to wait to get my mail from yahoo.

What version of Outlook are you using? What does "a very long time"
mean? 30 seconds? 20 minutes?

ypop is a proxy server so its going to take longer. it's also possible that
yahoo is doing something to slow it down or block it- you can test it by
setting up an account in OE. Note that OE will always be a lot faster than
Outlook because it uses simple mapi to get mail while outlook used extended
mapi.
