Hi - I have an interesting(!) conundrum for you. Apologies if this is
slightly off topic

Win2kprofsp4, Exchange2000sp3, Outlook XPsp3

We have roaming profiles enabled at the moment but have a group policy
to disable the roaming of the application data folder as they were
taking up masses of space on the server.

I have a user who regularly works on two workstations. Every time he
logs onto the other workstation the application data folder is reset ,
rather than simply keeping what is already there. This means that
every time he returns to the original machine his signatures,
autocomplete etc are wiped and he has to reset them everytime.

Is there a way round this? Maybe re-directing just the outlook folders
out of the application data folder? Some way of 'merging' the roaming
and local profiles perhaps?

Any ideas very gratefully received.

You could try Outlook Profiler

I'd first take a look at what's in the application data folder to see why
it's so large - it shouldn't be. I let those roam, too - and user profiles
are rarely more than about 20MB or so. TreeSize Pro (google it) is a great
help in these sorts of situations.
