Outlook via VPN

Hi,

When I try to connect my business mail (which is under Exchange) via VPN
with Outlook 2003 sp2, I receive the message
"error (0x8004011D) : 'The server is not available. Contact your
administrator if this condition persists."
On another hand, I can access via VPN to others ressources and even to our
Intranet. So the problem seems to be limited to mail access.

Did anyone meet and resolve such a trouble ?

Is your Exchange Server set to be available via VPN? In my office certain
ports & server aren't available remotely even if you connected through VPN

Hi Vince,

I know that some users are currently able to access our mail server via
outlook through VPN but we don't have yet an industrial way for parametering
outlook for this purpose.
Some of them solved the problem with the following modification of registery
:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\RPC]
"FixedUDPPort"=dword:0000177d
Unfortunately, this solution didn't work on my laptop.
