My Outlook 2002 used to be very fast one time but has now
become very slow.
What I mean by slow is that Outlook takes a long time to
change folders, e.g. when the contents of the Inbox
folder are displayed and I click on, say, Sent Items, it
takes a long time for the contents of the Sent Items
folder to be displayed on the screen.
Similarly, it takes a long time when changing from one e-
mail to another. For example, if the latest e-mail I
received is displayed in the Inbox's preview pane and I
click on an older e-mail, it takes a long time for the
content of the older e-mail to be displayed in the
preview pane.
It wasn't like that before. Why did my Outlook slow down?
I have a fairly new system (2.2 GHz Pentium with 512 MB
RAM), there are not that many e-mails stored in Outlook
(maybe 400 in total) and very few attachments.
It is obviously not a problem in that everything works
OK - it is more a nuisance.
Any ideas anyone?
