Outlook uninstalled itself

I'm currently using Windows XP and Microsoft Works.
Outlook 2002 came installed on my system. I was
instructed to install Microsoft Office in order to share
files between my syncronized palm top(which operates on
Windows CE) and my desktop. After installing Office 97,
I can no longer open Outlook 2002. It seems to have
unistalled certain files needed for the operation of
Outlook 2002.
Suggestions?

You use the repair option for OL2002 assuming you have the disk
If you installed O97 to try to use OL97 in yr sync operation you will have
damaged the origonal installation. In any case you cannot install OL twice,
on the same sys, even different versions.
