outlook sync back to yahoo

i made the mistake of syncing my yahoo mail account with outlook. it brought
over all my inbox messages, but nothing in my personal folders. and
something doesn't work quite right as i have all my outbox messages not being
sent either. so i have two questions.

i want to reverse the sync and just use yahoo from now on. in other words,
i want to send all my inbox messages BACK from outlook into yahoo

i want to get all my outbox messages sent from outlook

any help you can give me would be wonderful.

You're not providing any information to work with here.
Version of Outlook?
Did you make a POP3 connection?
You said where the messages didn't end up, but didn't say where they did end
up.
What error message do you get during send/receive?

Anyway;
1) If you configured it as POP3 you can't put your messages back on the
server. The POP3 protocol is server to client only. You need to make a IMAP
connection for 2 way sync. In the future configure the POP3 account to leave
a copy on the server.

2) Verify with Yahoo if you put in the correct SMTP settings. You can also
use the SMTP settings of your local ISP.
