If I want to make my own stationery in Outlook, it seems I can just
make it in Word using the web layout, is this in fact an html
document? If I am able to do this, in what instances would I want to
be actually writing html code (as opposed to just putting what I want
on the template without writing any code). Not sure if I'm clear on
when / why to actually write code for an email template.

Thanks!

Lauren

Stationery *is* actual HTML code. If you use Word as your HTML editor and
then look at the .htm file, you'll see that it's a lot wordier than HTML
code from other editors.
