Outlook spell check should also check message subject line

Under "Spell Check" options, should be option to also have spell check indeed
check subject line of emails too, not just the email message body! I have
spelled subject lines wrong a few time and send message w/them accidentally
to my embarassment, would be helpful...shouldn't have to cut/paste subject or
look at carefully, spell check should cover...

Thanks.

If you go (in the OL main window) to Tools/Options/Message Format, and set MS
Word as your editor, Word will spellcheck your Subject Lines.

We use Outlook 2000 and have word set as the editor, and spellcheck does not
spellcheck the subject line. any other suggestions?

Oh, I neglected to mention that I'm working with OL 2002. Maybe that's the
difference. Have you checked the Knowlege Base?

Which Windows do you have? If it's 97, this might be helpful

Another idea: Do your subject lines habitually have numbers in them? Or are
they in all-caps? If so, uncheck "ignore..."

If nothing else works, here's a last-ditch solution: (1) Type your subject
line in the MESSAGE box, (2) Run the Spellcheck (alt, t, s) and make
corrections, (3) cut the subject and paste it into the Subject line. [Once
you get REALLY habituated to doing that, if agreeing to "Spellcheck is
Complete" announcement every time irritates you, you could remove the
selection to spellcheck before sending in order to eliminate that
conversation.]

If you haven't already, post your question as a "NEW" item, so it will
attract more attention.

Does this also work for Outlook 2000? When i go (from the main outlook
screen) into TOOLS, OPTIONS, there is no "message format" option...there is a
"mail format" tab which allows you to select word as your editor, and there
is a spelling tab which has a few options, but i have seen nothing that seems
to indicate that i could include the subject line in my spell check.
