outlook signature

hello,

I created a signature - for Ms Outlook - with a number of images embedded.
when I send an email, the images are displayed (if opened in outlook or an
html supporting email tool). If the recepient responds to my mail keeping all
images, I will receive the original email (with embedded images) as well as
the reply.

If i then reply to this email, the embedded images dont show. on viewing the
source, there is a link to <IMG src="outbind://5/embeddedImage.gif... and
this doesnt show the actual image. Is there a way I could overcome this
problem?

regards,

I've run into the same problem, does anyone know what the resolution to
this issue is? I haven't seen this behavior on my own machine using my
signature... I'm instead trying to set up a signature for a client, and
we're running into this frustrating problem. Instead of displaying the
images, it provides an absolute path to his local machine and where the
image is stored (file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings... etc).

It appears that at some point the image attachments/embedded images
were stripped from the email.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike

See if something here helps:
