Outlook should have a small program on the background that notifi.

Now oulook had to run te full program to notifi when i have mail. i'd rather
see that in a small program that shows a small icon near the clock whenever
there is mail

I use outlook 2003.

I couldn't find anything about it in the help.

TOOLS..OPTIONS..PREFERENCES..E-MAIL OPTIONS..ADVANCED E-MAIL OPTIONS..
section marked "When New Items Arrive In my Inbox" checkmark against
"Display a New Mail Desktop Alert" In that same area is also the option
for "Show an envelope icon in the notification area"
