Outlook should have a cancel option when accidentally terminated

Hi,

I use Outlook 2000 mail at my work on daily bases. Wery often I close the
Outlook program by accident. After this the program asks:

"Are you sure you want to permanently delete alldo you want to delete all
the items and subfolders at the deleted items box? YES/NO" Then only option
is to choose from YES/NO. After this the program closes and it must be
started again.

This is not a "big deal" but wery annoying feature, atleast I think so. I
wish for CANCEL button.

Best wishes,
C

Here's a little trick to help with that: Create a message to yourself and in the Options dialog set it for deferred delivery say, till tomorrow. Send that message. Now go to the Outbox and open the message, then close it without resending it. The message should appear in the Outbox in normal type, not italics. Now, as long as that message is in the Outbox, you'll get a prompt when you close Outlook that items are still in the Outbox. You'll have the opportunity to close Outlook if you want.
