Outlook should allow conversion of Email text to a Calendar entry

I get a lot of emails in Outlook alerting me to upcoming meetings with the
time, date, place, etc. It would be nice to highlight the relevant text, and
have a wizard automatically sift through the text, pick out the salient
details, and convert the text to a new item in my Outlook calendar. As it is,
I have to do a lot of copying and pasting. This would save time.

Why not just right click and drag the email to the calendar and select "copy
here as appointment with text?"

Alternatively, write a little code that you can run on these items to pull
the information and populate an appointment item.
