Outlook Sent Email doesn't send the subject line?

Outlook 2007 removes the subject line from every message sent. I'm using
the HTML format. I've checked this by sending email to myself and others.
The subject line isn't in the source information received. I suspect it is
being stripped through the sending process. I've removed Google Desktop and
Microsoft Indexing from my computer because of response time issues and I'm
wondering if that is the cause of the problem. Any help would be
appreciated. I have not attempted to reload Outlook...

Did you try to eliminate the possibility that an Outlook plug-in is
corrupting your outbound e-mails by starting Outlook in its safe mode
("outlook.exe /safe") which won't load any plug-ins?

First, thank you for posting a response. I tried running Outlook in safe
mode and this did not fix the problem. The subject line still gets
eliminated in sent email. I then removed MicroSoft Office (including
Outlook) and re-installed the software - still without success. If you have
any other ideas please send them forward...Dave

Look at the copy in your Sent Items folder. Is it also missing the
first character in the Subject header? Or is it just the received
copy that the recipient got that is missing the first character?
