Outlook sending problem from ie File>Send page by email

I am trying to send a html file and having problems.
I have created the file and can view it OK in explorer.
In explorer when I click File > Send page by email everything looks OK,
although "This message has not been sent" appears above the address boxes. I
can specify addressees as usual.

However when I press Send, nothing happens. No error message, it just
ignores me.

I managed to send a single message earlier today in this manner
successfully, but have treid numerous times since without success. I am not
aware that I have changed anything since the first successful attempt.

You said this same thing nearly an hour previously. No need to post
multiple times. Post once and be patient.
