Outlook sending out multiple meeting requests

Hi,
I have an interesting one.
When one user here sends out a meeting request to members of staff, they
keep getting repeated requests every 5 mins or so, until the user sending
the requests cancels the request.

The laptop in use has been flattened and rebuilt, but still the problem
occurs.
If someone else sends a request to the same group it's fine, so i'm assuming
that its either server side or user error??

We're using outlook & exchange 2007, and vista ultimate.

Everything else on the laptop is fine, outlook works fine, and to really
confuse matters, the last time this happened, the user did not send a
request out for a few days, and then all of a sudden, in the middle of the
night, all and sundry started getting meeting requests from her again. Her
laptop was not even logged into the network, and was switched off in a safe
at the time.

Any ideas Chaps?
