Outlook reports sending 2 messages and there is only 1in the outbo

have noticed this since a few days.
when I write a *new* message and then press send and receive all, outlook
reports "sending message 2 of 2"....!!!! but there was only ONE in the outbox!
also in the sent folder, there is only the one I wrote.

this doesnt happen for reply...

I did run my virus scan, etc... nothing found
any help please?!!!

Do you have two accounts and are you using Outlook 2007? If so, it may be a
cosmetic bug in Outlook 2007 that reports a message count that includes the
number of accounts as well.
