Outlook remember password

Every time I want to get e-mail, I get a box requiring me
to enter a pasword. The remember password option comes
up ghosted out, so I cannot check it. I have gone to
accounts-server to reenter password and check remember
box there, but it still comes up ghosted out when I want
to enter outlook to read mail. How do I get the remember
password option to come up in this box so that I can
check it and remove this requirement to enter password
each time?
