outlook question

i'm using outlook 2003 sp 1

I used to receive the new mail icon/notification in the bottom right hand
corner of the screen whenever I had new mail, but for some reason this no
longer shows up when I have new mail. How do I turn this feature back on?

Running Windows XP? Make sure it is not a hidden Notification.

Tools menu > Options > Preferences tab > Email Options button > Advanced
