Outlook program hangs during "Send/Receive" process ......

After working without a hitch forever......my OUTLOOK is suddenly reaching
the 98% point during the "Send/Receive" process , stopping and starting a new
"Send/Receive" process which stops entirely at about 49% complete. How
annoying!

Context: I just returned from a business trip during which a hotel IT
person busily typed in IPs to get me hooked up to the hotel DSL for an
Internet based presentation......did this screw up my OUTLOOK or just
coincidental?
HELP!

PS: I keep getting this message even though I am FAR below the quota....

Task 'MSN Mailbox - (e-mail address removed) - Sending and Receiving' reported
error (0x8004060C) : 'The message store has reached its maximum size. To
reduce the amount of data in this message store, select some items that you
no longer need, and permanently (SHIFT + DEL) delete them.'

No, the hotel IT guy is not the blame. You have just downloaded too much
data. I'd say 1.8 gb of mail is a pretty good run!
If you need any other help post the version of outlook - 2000, 2003 etc.
